I've been considering selling my beloved Thruxton for the last few months as it's become a bit of a garage ornament but with the current lockdown restrictions it seems I'll only be going back to work at level 1 so I'm reluctantly putting this beauty up for sale to get some cash flow going.
I bought it new in 2014 and due to working overseas for most of the last few years its only got just over 16000kms on it. most of it's life has been in my garage under a sheet plugged into a charger. I've been religious about cleaning and only use Autoglym products on the paintwork. It has a full service history with Mike Hopkins. The bike is in pristine condition except for one or two tiny areas of corrosion from living at the coast and a few tiny scratches here and there.
Extras on the bike:
-TEC 2 into 1 tracker full system exhaust. This is a copy of the Arrow and with the baffle removed sounds like a real motorbike.
-Builtwell tracker handlebars. Much more comfortable around town than the standard cafe racer bars.
-Tail tidy and smaller indicators front and rear.
-Smaller tracker style front mudguard
-Aftermarket Fork boots
-Aftermarket Tank pads
-Adjustable aftermarket levers
-Lie flat instrument bracket.
-Aftermarket bar end mirrors
Front tyre was replaced about 2000kms ago and rear less than 1000kms ago. I also replaced the battery about a year ago and its always on a charger.
I also have all the original parts and exhaust which will go with the bike if you want to convert it back to it's original cafe racer form.
The only issue I've had was when somebody managed to reverse into the bike with their car and knocked it over causing a small ding in the tank which was repaired and sprayed. Some brake fluid also leaked out of the resovoir and ate away a tiny section of paint on the frame. I have CCTV footage of the event but it's not pretty to watch
Anyone interested please message me here or whatsapp on zero 8 three 4122995 for more info. Bike is based in Tokai and is paid up and registered in my name.
