Hi, I have a new 2021 1290 Super Adventure R, having come from a 790 Adv R.
The new bike is great but I have one major complaint and that is the cramped riding position when seated on the 2021 SAR for taller riders. I am 1.83m tall and I find that when riding seated my knees are really high, my feet are level on the pegs (right foot seems to constantly contact the brake pedal while riding), and I seem to slide forward on the seat to against the tank when riding. I have to say that when standing the geometry is just right, but when riding seated the bike’s angles and lengths are really uncomfortable for me.
My question is if the optional rally seat will solve this uncomfortable riding position, or must I just get used to it? Anyone with experience to share on this will be much appreciated, thanks in advance and ride safely everyone.
