Quick one guys! Does anyone know if the X-Challenges engine/cranckcase vents to the atmosphere (or into the Air intake)?  All I could see that resembles this is the oil reservoir tank connected by a hose to the tappet cover - but this still closes the loop back to the engine case and not to outside atmosphere.  Traditionally a link between the engine case and the airbox or via a non return valve, straight into the intake manifold takes care of blow by and condensate gasses generated via the combustion process.

Lack of this vent can circulate combustion moisture and combustion products straight back into the oil - shortening oil life expectancy and leaving potentially milky deposits (from water emulsion) in cold area's?

I am specifically refering to the X-Challenge, as I believe the GS has a link to the airbox....help?
