TABLE VIEW, CAPE TOWN: BIKER IN HIS 30’s IN SERIOUS CONDITION AFTER COLLISION WITH CAR
A man, believed to be in his 30s, was left seriously injured after a collision last night between a light motor vehicle and motorbike at the Otto Du Plesiss and David Baird Road intersection in Table View in the Western Cape.
ER24 paramedics arrived on the scene and found both the vehicle and bike in the middle of the road. The biker was found lying in the road a few metres away from his motorbike.
Upon assessment, paramedics found that the man had sustained serious injuries to his leg and hand, leaving him in a critical condition.

ER24 paramedics began their treatment and provided the patient with several advanced life support interventions. Once treated, the patient was transported to a private hospital for urgent treatment.
The driver of the vehicle was assessed and found to have escaped injury.
Local authorities will be investigating this matter.
