Took an 800 xc for a spin yesterday and was quite impressed. Oly had the opportunity to do tar though and could not go too far as the missus was waiting for me...
So this leaves me with two questions:
1 - how good is this bike on gavel roads. In my book this means:
- sand travel as you would find when doing a waterberg trip,
- traveling karoo roads and places like verneukpan,
- traveling more rocky terrain with ruts and dips like the sand road going to buffelspoort holiday
resort over the koppie.
2 - what is the fuel consumption like - my requirement is to at least do 300 km on a tank.
