Panic stations here .......
Very NB, I need the bike on Tuesday but can only fix it on Monday afternoon, this is not flexible.
Started it today after it's been sitting a few months. Started first swing on choke, new battwry is the bees knees. Runs great on choke but the second I open the throttle a touch, it dies.
Warms up OK but I can't close the choke, it dies. Half choke it backfires a bit but dies when throttle touched.
I'm thinking shitty fuel, yet it's stood for far longer before.
Any wild ideas out there? Maybe 1 carb good, 1 bad?
If the bike doesn't run, my trip to Scotland has gone .........
