Hi guys, I'm rebuilding a 990 2006 which was in an accident and the stood for 2 years before I bought it. Damage was just cosmetic, rims and suspension. 14 000km.
We checked all fluids, removed the plugs, turned it over by hand, replaced and the started her. Occasional oud clacking noise, which I assume is the torgue limiter. Already ordered one.
Main problem is the bike runs for 3-5 seconds, (sounding AWESOME with akra's! :biggrin: ) and then just dead. No missing or running rough, just cutting out completely. Battery is 3 months old from the GSA and on a smart charger all the time.
The workshop manual couldn't help me, any ideas?
