When comparing light bars there are a lot of aspects to consider. Such as ruggedness, output and intended use.

Extreme Lights’s FOURTH Generation Sirius3 LED Light Bar takes the SPOT BEAM and Distance to the next level. With two technologies – reflectors and aspheric lenses – working together to ensure a small hot spot for a massive beam distance

An aspheric lens or asphere is a lens whose surface profiles are not portions of a sphere or cylinder. A single aspheric lens can replace a much more complex multi-lens system. The resulting device is smaller and lighter. The benefits of combining a Aspheric lens with a reflector elements is that light that would have been flood light are captured and directed forward out of the light bar. Therefore adding to the hot spot intensity

The LED's used in light bar radiat light 120deg-150deg. Optical elements attempt to shape the light in to a beam. Just using reflectors and lenses has been problematic and results in to much light being lost. Chancing the reflector and combining it with an aspheric lense captures more of the light and projects it in to abeam.

Water proofing and

shock and vibration resistance.

Equipped with a Pressure Equalizing Vent that is proven to reduce condensation and contaminants in headlamp assemblies by:
allowing rapid exchange of air in response to pressure/temperature changes
driving moisture out of the headlamp by diffusion through a microporous ePTFE membrane structure
providing a reliable, long-lasting barrier to water and automotive fluids
blocking entry of dust and other particulates to the lens and housing
