Recently got a computer for work that is going to be used by me on trips for writing logs, storing photos, using with Mapsource, etc.
We got it to let our engineers use when they are working in building sites, but hey I'm the boss and can take the thing home when I want it ;o)

Its a ruggedised Panasonic Toughbook.

As show in the picture it can swivel and lock into various positions, this looks weak in the picture but believe me this thing can bounce and tumble and still be fine.
I'm working on getting 3G card for this, so can stay connected in most major centers of SA while touring. Worst case I can connect at modem speed to update trips on the fly, he us computer geeks love this shit.
