I'm looking to put a set of Barkbusters on my Dakar, but a friend of mine with a KLR mentioned that he had to remove the end weights (dampers) (sorry I'm a newbie when it comes to bikes and don't know the correct name for those) on his handlebars to accommodate them. This results in some extra vibration when riding which I suppose he's happy to live with. Would I have to also make this mod to the Dakar, if so, how much extra vibration is there (can you live with it)?
