Ok I'll admit it. I'm not always sure how soft panniers or roll bags like giant loop etc are fitted to a bike. Hence this topic.
My f7gs have pannier racks for the std BMW (hard) cases, but I have no interest in going for hard cases, not to even mention the price.
Will I be able to fit these U shaped or soft bags on the bike - without burning holes on the exhaust side...I had a naff set of Oxford bags years ago in SA that came with a really moeg KLR I bought, but to be honest I never even bothered fitting them as I couldn't see how they cannot get burnt on the exhaust.
I'm on the hunt for a set of bags for a trip to Wales in May, and I am going camping, so the top box isn't going to cut it anymore.
I've been hunting around on ebay for a secondhand set, because I'm quite platsak and using them twice a year I cannot justify buying GL or Enduristan for hundreds of £££.
Dankie dankie :thumleft:
