Hey guys

I've been keen to pick up an 1150GSA for a long time now and am now in a position to do so. I've heard and read that the bikes are superb and reliable.

There is one going for R69k at my local bike shop (being sold for the owner), it has BMW panniers and top box, and it's done 54000km. The bike is in good nic, been dropped on the right side but it has protective bars and touratech plates and there is no damage to the jugs.

It rides nicely but there were a few things I noticed although I don't know if they are normal:
1. the gearbox did sound clacky in first and second on high rev changes.
2. the front brakes gave a noticeable 'servo' type sound. At standstill you can hear the brakes activating.
3. the front shocks did tend to sag quite noticeably on high rev changes - as the torque drops the whole front sags.

Any advice would be really appreciated.

Also - I can spanner fairly well - how easy is it to work on this bike?

thanks guys
