Went along to AFRICA BIKE WEEK expecting it to be a bunch of Harleys & customs and the usual attitude that goes along with that sort of thing ..... was I ever wrong. Absolute JOL, outstanding bikes from all genres of the motorcycling spectrum, super freindly bikers everywhere. Made me proud to be a biker. Margate really pulls out all the stops as well and makes it as pleasant as possible for everyone. What an awesome venue for such an event. Adventure biking rides out near Oribi Gorge and surroundings, twisty roads for the tupperware torpedoes, nice flat roads flanked on each side by pubs, restuarants, sidewalk cafes and etc for the HD & Custom riders to pose down, to be fair everybody took advantage of that. Hot babes in tiny clothing, beach front, warm sunny days. Those who didn't go really missed out.
