Africa Race to replace the Dakar Rally

Hubert Auriol, born in Addis Abeba in 1952 and three-time winner of the Paris-Dakar, will organise a new Rally Raid called 'Africa Race' taking place from 26 December 2008 to 11 January 2009.

This new Rally will start from a European city and will end in Dakar. Countries like Morocco and Mauritania will be part of this new adventure.
