Africa Twin Electronic Trip Gauge

While going for a short ride on Sunday my AT just went dead at the stop street.
Dead! Anyway I turned ignition off and back on and all the power was back.
Unfortunately the electronic display has all gone to 8's. Can't get it reset.
Has anybody had this issue? Advise please.
