aftermarket exhaust on R1100GS

Hi all. I am in the process of fitting a Scorch aftermarket exhaust to my R1100GS. Was just wondering what your opinions are regarding the need for making any additional adjustments after the system has been fitted (and cat converter removed). BMW reckons that (although they don't promote aftermarket pipes) no adjustments are neccessary. Do you agree? I would appreciate all opinions, especially from those guys who has done the excersise
