My name is Floor and I'm from Holland. Last july I was in Cape Town at the beginning of a trip on my Honda Transalp (and my father and brother on an Africa Twin and another Transalp) back to Holland. (S-A, Namibia, Botswana, Zimbabwe, Zambia etc.) This was my first time in S-A and I liked it. Next holiday I would like to come back and drive a little more dirt roads. While I was looking for that stuff, I came here and it looks like a nice place with a lot of info.
I'm very interested in nice dirt roads between Cape Town and Springbok (and also Namibia), so if anyone can help me with that..?
How's the road Kaapstad, Ceres, Calvinia, Kliprand, Springbok. (first part tar, rest of the route gravel) or are there other roads which are nicer? (maybe the 'trip planning' is a better place for this :)
