Heard an Ekhuruleni orifice of the law on 702 radio this AM stating that coloured headlight covers ARE illegal and that they are cracking down on offenders and are arresting bikers for having these...
This I hear just after I have put one on the GSA....
I wish I had a son so I could forbid him from becoming a speed cop... (bastards) BTW, this particular orifice had that typical "F...K you attitude"
I decided to put one on when the other day I saw a bike with an orange cover on. Could see the bloke a good way off (at least 1km down the road), Very very effective for making us visible. BTW it was a GSA and not a Katoom...
How can we get a law setup to allow yellow and amber covers?? Do we "lobby our congressman"???
I agree that blue and red and green covers could confuse the traffic, but not yellow and amber......
Any comment? How can we get these legal???
