As the heading says, I’m planning a trip around Lesotho during Easter.
The plans are as follows:
THURSDAY: Leaving work early and sleep in Aliwal (tar)
FRIDAY: Travel gravel on all the gravel roads between the tar roads and the Lesotho Border towards Witsieshoek where we’ll camp;
SATURDAY: Explore the chain ladder area and see if I can handle the height. If we are back at +/- 13H00, we’ll leave for Mooirivier (??) to camp;
SUNDAY: If did sleep in Mooirivier, we’ll travel the same way to Matatile;
MONDAY: Going back to EL via Rhodes, Barkly East, Rossouw and Dordrecht from where we’ll go on tar.
Your opinion of the route (attached) would be appreciated and areas / roads to visit / avoid. Only the route from Aliwal - Dordrecht is attached as the rest is tar.
