help needed..
i'm planning a nine day trip in about two weeks: from nampula in the north of mozambique around the malaŵi lake and back to nampula.
a swiss friend of mine works there and he's keen to take his triumph 800 for a spin. i'm just too happy to oblige!
my xtz660 has been sitting there waiting and longing for me.. i rode it up there last year but didn't have enough time to get back for work..
a few questions that i need help with:
1. there doesn't seem to be a road hugging the lake all the way around, especially on the north-east side through tanzania. any suggestions? maybe a ferry or two?
2. what's the visa show with tanzania? i think i need one but can i get it at the border? or am i going to have to pickle to cape town and stand in a line for hours?
(i'm going for my license in worcester next week - had to pay a few bribes in moz last year for riding with only a learner's - wish me luck!)
