Went over Bain's Kloof pass today, coming from Ceres direction Wellington, and came across some patches of loose gravel and the grey crushed stone (like the type they use to repair the roads) on the road surface in some of the corners. In some cases they were quite difficult to spot, what with the shadows and some wet patches still left over after the rain. This was about half way down the pass on the Wellington side.
