Ballie new to adventure riding

Hi all, I'm a ballie, new to adventure riding, just bought an old '05 GS 12, and rode it from DBN to Cape Town and back on gravel and back roads wherever possible. Added about 7000 km in the first five weeks of owning it. Have had too much fun. Why did it take a heart attack to to give myself permission to do this? Still have a lot to learn, especially in soft sand and mud. Luckily KZN provides lots of places for that. Love working on my bike and doing some basic mods like HID Xenon, lights, etc. and all maintenance. Let's go for a ride...
