Probably a stupid question but I can't seem to find a straight answer anywhere. Can your bike's battery actually drain through its side stand (or center stand for that matter)? Or is this an ungrounded old wives tale? I've hurt suggestions of putting a rubber mat under the stand, which I've been doing for a while but don't want to waist time and energy one something if it's not going to make any difference... ???
