This is my story!
Back from a flippin awesum trip to Namibia now and since I parked back home having done the last day straight back from Grunau to Cape Town(Durbanville actually) parked in the garage greeted my wife and relaxed.
Next day decided to offload bike and get things back to normal
Turning the key and NOTHING ??? What could possibly have gone wrong since the day before ??? ??? ???
Bike ran and started first every time on the trip and never no problems...
Me and Bergie then went to work and started to look for the problem and blamed it on the "Rectifier".
Price for new one quoted to me by dealer was R2450
So last night decided to take more things apart and look for a problem else where...
Found my Battery completely empty :-\
Now I did check the levels before the trip and all was good...
Could it have rattled out all the water on the gravel roads ??? (It is a KLR after all?)
Now put battery water back in and put it on charge last night, HOPE THIS IS THE PROBLEM! (Cheaper than rectifier)
Will put battery back in after work today :lamer:
Any body else ever had this happen?
Next battery gonna be a sealed one most def!!! :bueller:
