I am planning on seeing the sites on the battlefields route in KZN at the end of November. Going to take leave for the last week, including the weekend before and after. The plan is to leave the Saturday morning and come back before the next Sunday. Will be taking the bike, fully loaded.
Now,I downloaded a map with all the sites on it. 65 sites, it seems. Advise on the website is to rather choose an era and follow the sites related to that. That doesn't seem like enough fun, in my opinion. That is why I am planning on hitting ALL 65 sites, or at least get as close as possible...

Any input will be greatly appreciated
Does anyone know whether any of these sites are closed down, or inaccessible?
Will be doing the route clock wise, and mostly camping will be on the programme. Are there any camping sites that do not allow bikes in?
Are there some sites that I need to add, or that are impressive enough to warrant more time to be spent on?
Has any one attempted this before, any advise?
