A day ride on Monday 6 April, a public holiday. The DR Big should be running by then and I need to give it a shakedown before I go touring with it later in the week.
Here's a map so long. From the R62 left at the fork to Baviaans Lodge, up to the plato, take a right and then back to the R62 along Nooitgedaght valley.
Lead in / out track (Tail) - 25kms
Left loop - 31kms
Right loop - 27kms
Total loop - just short of 110kms
Allow about 3 hours(or more) in total
PE guys meet 0700 on the Samantha way off-ramp to the N2 near Makro. Breakfis at 0830 at the Sweaty Dutchman in Kareedow and then at about 1000 we hit it.
