I'd like to know what the best GPS unit is out there, I'm really not a big fan of the Garmin Zumo & it's user-interface from the late 80's. Tried it on several trips & everytime I wanted to throw it off the mountain.
Had a look at the new TomTom Rider, really looks the part, but does it work in the middle of the Cederberg mountains & can I add my custom waypoints? Not really bothered about T4A maps...
Any advice will be helpful, I don't want to fork out money for something that doesn't work when it should.
Seems the Etrex range is quite popular among the enduro riders, but with the dollar, they're bot cheap anymore.
