Ya, you probably know this already, but I'm gonna say it again.
I travel this route daily in a cage, and I've noticed that since the holidays started theres been more & more pedestrians running across the highway just after the Koeberg Interchange ( CT direction). I rarely pass there when there aren't at least 3 idjits standing in the middle of the highway, wanting to run across. At least 1 or 2 lanes are loaded.
I always hoot & make gesticulate madly, but it seems to have no impact. Think I'm gonna turn my window washers to face the side of the vehicle & give then a spray as I go past.
Be careful out there folks.
