I have a feeling I'm being ripped off so I'd like to hear some informed opinions here from those in the know. Long story short I'm trading my bike in on another at a dealer, they are settling the finance etc.
For the finance they use a financing company and when I got the intial quote the amount to be financed was quite a bit more than the agreed amount with the dealer and the interest rate was 13.1%.
After asking to look at the agreement I see that there is like 16k listed as "dealer added products and services" etc. Finance company tells me that is for the warranty etc.
I politely declined all those extras and they said they would revise the deal.
Deal gets revised but now interest is at 14.1% apparently because the deal got changed. I smell BS here......
