Nelspruit, like most other towns, has seen a spike in the amount of motorbikes stolen from properties in last year or two. It seems like there is not much that deters these criminals. We hear stories about GS's being lifted over palisade fences, garage doors forced open etc.

My bikes are kept in my yard under carport behind a locked sliding gate, but visible from the street. Security beam only active during the night.  Roadbike has alarm and immobiliser, once the gate is forcefully opened, anyone can just push my HP2 out of the yard and load onto bakkie or the like....

Does anyone here make use of these anchors and chains? Do you guys feel that it is good enough to prevent criminals taking my bikes?
