Hi dogs, I hope someone can help me out.
My son crashed his little 125 about 2 years ago and the repair cost quotes were more than what the bike cost new.
Due to a technicality the insurance found a loophole not to pay me anything out. I then sold the wreck for a minimal amount to a dealer to be used as spares in his workshop.
Now I have received the license renewal letter for that bike for the second time after I have sold it to him.
So it is still registered in my name.
What can I do in this case? How can I convince this dealer to either register the bike in his name or scrap it.
Can I claim the bike back, or should I go to the lincensing dept and scrap the bike myself?
What does scrapping a vehicle involve? Is it a lengthy procedure?
