Guys and Gals - With the Cairo 2 Cape thing done and dusted in 2012, I am planning to go to South America in 2017. Basically looking to do a circle trip from say Argentina to Paraguay, Bolivia, Chile and back to Argentina. Will probably do it over a1 month period, coinsiding with the Dakar. I am looking for advice on the following questions:
1) I have a Garmin GPS - what map do you recommend - Garmin Street Navigator South America, or is there a similar thing like T4A?
2) We will ship our bikes to Argentina - any recommended Shipping Agents to use who is familiar with that destination?
3) Is there software that I could use to do route planning? I have mapsource with Africa detail - it there something similar for South America?
4) What normal foldable sheet roadmap is available for South America? I am aware of the maps available from Omnimaps, but are thet sufficient?
