For all the DS riders who have come down to the coast for bike week:
If you want to get some dust on your sparkley bikes
On Sunday I'm going for a short ride, from Shelly Beach up to Paddock, and then winding back to Margate airport. It's about 50% gravel to Paddock, and all gravel coming back to margate. District roads, some wide, some narrow, some bumpy. I'll leave after lunch Sunday, so you can still do the mass ride in the morning, about 1:30.
Monday morning I'll go out a bit longer, up to Paddock, weave along up to Izengleweni, then back down to Port Edward with some detours and loops thrown in. Will try leave Shelly Beach about 7:45.
I'll be heading out from the Engen at South Coast Mall.
