I'm new to the forum, and also bikeless... Yep, I'm not expecting too many high fives and warm welcomes! My only 'bike' experience thus far is with my '69 Vespa sprint, 80kph max downhill, with a strong south easter from behind, thrilling stuff..
I recently relocated to Ellisras and the vast amount of gravel around here just beckons to be explored! I joined a group of guys recently in my four-wheeled heathen (support vehicle ;D) and realised it won't be long before I join them on two wheels! No fun on four!
So at the moment I'm obsessively doing research and looking out for the perfect starter bike. Leaning towards the KLR 650/KLE 500 at the moment.
