Johannesburg - A man was caught travelling at 201km/h on a motorcycle on the N4 in Pretoria on Monday, Gauteng traffic police said. The man was allegedly drunk at the time.
He did not have a valid licence, spokesperson Busaphi Nxumalo said in a statement.
The high-speed unit caught him on a Yamaha near the Doornpoort toll plaza.
He would be charged with reckless driving, driving without a licence and driving under the influence, Nxumalo said.
During the Easter weekend, 70 motorists were arrested in Gauteng. Two of them were drunk and the others were speeding or driving recklessly, according to police. - Sapa
