Biker on new KTM RC8 Highsided when a car stopped in front of him near Swavelpoort this morning.
In the process he took out an elderly gentleman on a bicycle and both ended up next to the road in a ditch.
The biker is 53 year old Nic Labushagne from a smallholding in Pretoria North. His family were on scene soon after the were called and he is stable in Wilgers Hospital with back injuries.
the gent on the bike was in too much pain and I did not get his name.
he has also been taken to Wilgers.
The crash happened at about 110km/h and the biker was in full riding gear. His gear took the brunt of the damage. Shark helmet... kevlar gloves... Dainesse Jacket... and Kulcha Pants with proper boots.
Bike was loaded by family and removed from the scene.
Community on radio network and MZT Security were on scene in 4 minutes.
SAPS arrived in 20 minutes and family and ambulance from Centurion in about 40 minutes.
Hope they both recover soon.
