Does anyone still recall a bike scrapyard in the Joburg city centre in the eighties called Bikes N Bits? Recall it may have been in Main Street. It was a similar set up to the Bike Hospital and run by John and his father "Pops". They often advertised in the " Bark Essay".
I bought a lot of new and used stuff from them back in the day, but moved out of Joburg in the early nineties. The name cropped up in conversation today and perhaps someone knows what became of them and the business?
