Bird Strike @ 198KPH

On my way back form Bloem today.... its about 4.30 beautiful free state golden afternoon on a brand new wide open straight no cars and the trottle is wide open.... im thinking what a lekker ride to end the day.

To my left a flock of what looks like a 1000 finches rise up, I admire the beauty of the sheer number and how well the sun behind me  lights up the colours on thier wings... 

Too bad it was 50 meters ahead of me and the flock banked back straight in front of me. Felt like i was being attacked by mossie machine gun.. Too bad for them
