My son's 2003 BMW Dakar 650 lost it's battery. We wanted to go for a ride Sunday and his bike was morsdood vrek. Not even a red light anywhere. I put the tester on and it was at 2.6V.
We jumpstarted it from my bike and it started, but as soon as the jumpers are removed, the bike died. Seems like the bike is not charging
After 24 hours on the Optimate, it sits at 9.4V.
Is it worth charging it or is this battery gone?
Which battery is a good replacement?
(The battery poles are opposite to a normal battery. The + is on the right and the - on the left)
