Hi there all WDs
I hope the knowledgable (and maybe not so knowledgable like myself) can shed more light (no pun intended) on the warranty issues relating to installing and HID set on my F650GS 2009. I mentioned to a particular dealer that I thought the standard lighting on the bike was iffy at best and that I am considering HID aftermarket ---- he promptly pointed out the STANDARD WARRANTY WARNING ISSUED BY ALL DEALERS! FIT IT AND LOSE YOUR ELECTRICAL WARRANTY! Any feedback on this issue would be highly appreciated. I would actually prefer the warranty void than continuing riding with the current lighting system at night.
