BMW Finance Settlement Question

Not sure if this is posted in the right sub-forum, but here it goes:

I just purchased a pre-owned BMW 1200GSA advertised right here on this forum.
Very happy with my purchase... money has been said to the seller to settle the bike with BMW Finance.

The seller was told today by BMW Finance that it takes 14 days to issue the paperwork after settlement. This seems ridiculously long!
Any suggestions or ideas on how to expedite the process or is this normal?

I'm pretty sure Wesbank et al do it within 24 hours, no?
