Has anyone ever fited the Yuasa YB18L-A battery as listed under the alternative parts "BM VS Midas parts" thread?
I went to buy one from battery Centre recently only to disciver the OEM battery has a width of 75mm and the YB18L-A width of 90mm. Since i don't have the ABS model there is enough space to make a slight modification to the metal box of the current battery to fit the slightly wider battery.
Is it worth the effort or should i just shut eyes and pay the R1600 for the OEm BMW battery?
