So today I noticed that the mounting bolts of the end pipe were rusted so took a allen key to them and they just started spinning. Ended up taking the whole end pipe off and when I turned it upside down the entire contents poured out into a little heap of rust on the floor. Closer examination of the airbox also showed signs of holes and rust. So all that's now left in working order are the two downpipes.
What are my options for replacing the silencer and air box of the R80GS / R100GS (1992)?
What have you done to yours and how did it respond ie power, effective noise reduction etc?
