Botswana (Kasane) to Vic falls - Border?

Myself and my wife are planning a trip through Botswana in late December culminating in a 5 day stay over in Kasane. I am wanting to do a day trip from Kasane to Victoria Falls but cannot find much info and therefore hope some of the guys here can help me out.

• What are the costs of visiting the falls? I only want to view them, not interested in all the other activities.
• Are there any risks other than the expected (restless vagrants looking for an easy buck)
• Is the boarder post servicing the Botswana/Zim border in that area overly busy in during that period in December?
• Any tricks, do's, dont's when crossing that specific border on a bike?
• Any other advice?

I would appreciate any help and pointers.
