The year has come and gone and Christmas is around the corner.
It is time to ride your bike (or car) for 100 kilometers from Capetown, pitch your tent and mingle
with the crowd and sit back and enjoy yourself on the banks of the Breede River.
This year will be the 6th edition of this festive gathering.
Surely no need to explain what it is all about.
For those that don't know, just use the search function and go and search for "Breede Bash"
and you will see how much fun we had the previous 5 years.
This year the venue will move to Klipkrans. www.klipkrans.co.za
Klipkrans is a private nature reserve that is situated about 15 km outside of Worcester on the banks of the
Breede river.
We will publish a map here closer to the date.
This party has grown every year since it's inception in December 2007 and has become quite a favourite with the masses.
HERE IS THE DEAL:
The party will cost you R 75 per person.
This is extremely cheap,as there are no profits to be gained from this and
the money is just to cover be "real" cost of the party.
What you will get for your R 75:
1. Camping spot on the grass
2. Shaded area to sit down and socialize.
3. Cash bar
4. Fire, coals and braaigrids (roosters)
5. Ektoknbike will provide produce from his farm...whatever is in season like apricots, watermelon and spanspek or whatever
is ripe and ready on the day for everybody to enjoy.
6. Like all the other years ample amount of white wine and red wine will be available from the local cellar.
for general use.
7. Water and toilets with showers.
8. A mighty big river to swim in and cool off.
9. Unique private venue on a private farm.
It will only be Wilddogs at the venue, no other people will be around
What you must bring:
1. Positive attitude
2. Food to braai and eat for dinner and breakfast.
Braai packs will be available ..........read about it lower down in the thread.
3. Plates, cutlery and mug and/or glass to drink from
4. Tent and camping equipment for the night
5. Tabbard and/or other insect reppellant. (Some years the buggers are bad, some years
they are non-existant. No guarantees on the outcome)
IMPORTANT:
We are not going to handle cash on the day to pay for the camping.
We want to go there to relax and party, not to work
Money must be paid into the bankaccount below before 17 November 2012.
Reason being that we have to pay ahead to secure the venue. Keep in mind that it is a
commercial venue for the owners and they are doing us a favour by giving us such a real special price

Braaipacks:
We can arrange braaipacks which will consist of : 2x Big chops, big portion boerewors and chicken-sosatie.
Cost : R 50 per braaipack.
These must be pre-ordered and also paid a week before the event.
Unfortunately we will not be able to supply salads and/or other food.

For those that wants to go through on the Friday already................the cost would
be R75 per person extra.
We can arrange for the Friday night that there will be wood and grids .

Last year a few (especially the ladies) where not happy with the ablutions.
This year the quality of the ablutions will be much better and the owner of the venue
is busy building (adding) new facilities as we speak.
So now problem there.
Last year a few where also not happy with the terrain.
As you will see from the pics on their website the terrain has got beautiful soft grass
and that will also not be a problem.
