Pack Dog
As mentioned this morning, https://wilddog.net.za/forum/index.php?topic=37073.0;topicseen#bot took the wife on her first real gravel as a pillion. (For that matter, my first time with a pillion on gravel as well, except for a sort jaunt to Hamburg more than a year ago!)
The "left-hand-on-chest, right-hand-flat-between-shoulder-blades" position worked for her, said she felt quite comfortable like that. So comfortable that she started taking pictures while we were riding later! Did 78km to Hogsback on gravel, via Keiskammahoek. After brunch 56km to Cathcart on gravel, and then 50km on tar back to Stutterheim. Comment from my dearest: "Tar is now quite boring!"
Guess we'll have to force ourselves to ride more gravel! :ricky:
Gubu dam was pretty as ever!
Sandile Dam was quite low
Forest road surface excellent, just some mud in some of the shady corners.
Close to Hogsback, they seem to be fighting the Wattle.
Very nice brunch at the "Enchanted Treehouse"
On the way to Cathcart - VERY dry!
"Interesting" entrance to a farm...
