HSK and I have booked our flights and bikes to Cape Town! We arrive on the 30th of March.
We have finalised the first four days and need info if possible on our proposed routes. And of course, we'd love the WD's in the areas to join us as much as possible on the rides.
DAY 1: (Friday 1st April 2011)
Leave Cape Town by 6am
Slab it to Botriver -------> 240kms to Anysberg------->Push on about 100kms towards Prince Albert------> probable stealth camping
DAY 2: (Saturday 2nd April 2011)
Prince Albert------> into Die HEL ---------> Swartberg pass ----------> Maaitjies River --------->Montagu Pass------> George
staying at a friends farm outside George
DAY 3: (Sunday 3rd April 2011)
George---->(Old seven passes road), Karatara Pass------>Homtini Pass-----> Knysna heads-----> Prince Alfred Pass (Angie's G-spot)
------>Uniondale ---------->The Baviaanskloof ------->Stay over at Baviaans (Makedaat caves)
DAY 4: (Monday 4th April 2011)
Baviaans--------> Patensie ------>Uitenhaag------>Addo National Park ------->Doringnek pass -------> Zeerberg pass (along Beans river)------> Find a place to stay for the night in the area
The next six days are still in progress... we'll post shortly to determine routes.
