My 2006 KTM300XC-W all of a sudden decided that it does not want to rev higher than idling speed. After checking (and double checking) everything still no joy. 
Only thing left was the CDI unit. Plugged my mate's CDI in to my bike and problem solved. So my CDI is in its moer then right?...Mmmmm I'm not so sure.
Here's why. When I plug my ''fooked'' CDI unit in to any other 300 they run perfectly. Plug it back in to my bike and same shit...WTF ???
Now do I pay R 3000+ for a new CDI or can something be done? :-\
Allready had the bike at the dealers and a few other places. They reckon I must maar get a new CDI.
