Cape Town lane split

Hell, if i had the time to snap pics i would have - but alas - the reason for my post will be evident.  On a few occations now leaving the city via the N1 peak hour afternoon (at around 17h00) i have seen a few guys (mostly one on a new LC 1200ADV and one on a normal 1200 ) and the other on a scrambler - seperate occations - lane split at insane speeds.  While i do admire your skills (goeie fooook die ouens kan hulle bikes rondgooi) i am sincerely hoping i will not be pulling off the shoulder lane one of these days to come and help you when your luck runs out.  Maybe i am getting old, but moer is this the norm these days?????
