Getting a group of people together is like herding cats!
So here is the proposal:
I would like to try and find someone who is available and willing to ride with me each day, possibly from each area I am going to be passing through, to help me chose the nicest routes.
Willing to be flexible on the route. If there is anyone who wants to do the whole ride also will be great.
This is the tentative ride I would like to do from about 23rd August - could start a day earlier or later - weather dependent.
Cape Town/Hermanus - Riversdale or Stillbay (maybe a bit far)
??/Stillbay - Uniondale/DeRust
Uniondale - Baviaans - Kirkwood - Ann's Villa
Stay a night at Ann's Villa 27th August - return to cape town 28th ??route
Steytlerville - 7 passes - possibly Prince Albert??
Weapon of choice will be the DRZ400 - 10litre tanks so need to plan petrol refill points carefully! And will not be able to sit on that seat for long distances every day!
Anyone out there keen for a day??
